PrEP is a wonderful tool that high-risk individuals can use to prevent HIV. Even though PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) has been around in the U.S. for some time now, not a lot of people know about it. And, even fewer people feel like they know enough about it to be able to make an informed decision about whether or not to use it. We're inviting everyone interested to LEX Talk About PrEP.
We will have a presentation about PrEP by a representative from Gilead, the drug company that manufactures PrEP. Also speaking are 2 doctors who perscribe PrEP, and testimonials from men currently on PrEP.
There will be a small reception before with refreshments, information about AVOL and PrEP, and the chance to chat with some Prevention Specialists. Presentation begins at 6:30. Bring your questions, a Q&A session will follow.
