Bar, Stage, and Dance Floor All-in-One

Great place! Drag shows are good, dance floor is AMAZING, and plenty of fun people to meet.

As bad as it gets

Maybe it was just an off weekend. A verrry off weekend. But this place had nothing but a handful of trolls and a small group of straights to watch the sad drag show. Very depressing for a Friday night. And to add insult to injury there was a $5 cover to experience this hot mess. Never again.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that

The bar complex has a little somethin for everybody. The drag shows start at 10:30 and last until 2 or so, so there's always some queens to gander at. There are a total of 3 bars in the place: one in the drag room, one semi big one in the front foyer, and one upstairs near the dance floor. The dance floor exists as the majority of the second floor minus a small sitting area in the back of the room. Theres also a small sitting room off to the left of the dance floor where you can see the modest but beautiful city lights of Lexington through the old brick windows. As for thebartenders, the dance floor bartender is super expensive, the boys/gals in the front foyer are sometimes decent and kenny (who is the bartender in the stage/drag area) is the nicest and sometimes the cheapest of all. As for the queens, there is a wide variety of shapes and sizes for the most part. Also, the weekends bring drag guests from other states and so forth. Thursdays are open stage for new drag queens and kings to strut their stuff which can be extremely entertaining at times. The Bar Complex is definitely a must for anyone visiting Lexington.
